A RETURN TO GUYANA

          In the spirit of Acts 15:36 (“And some
days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in
every city where we have preached the Word of the Lord and see how they do”) we
return from time to time to Guyana, South America.

          We have gone down for campaign and
Gospel meeting work a number of times and these have been great occasions for
the cause of Christ. We also go for trips like this one, to check on the works
with which we are involved, to “see how they do.”

          This time the men going are Ray Hill,
Demar Elam and me (Bill Irby). We will be going to Canje, Bartica and Tuschen.
Brothers and sisters here at West Hobbs have worked in all three of these
places, but we have concentrated our efforts in Canje and Bartica. As you may
know, Demar has also been involved with all these works but in recent years has
worked diligently for the establishment of a good work in Tuschen.

          We are trying to make this a quick and
efficient trip. We will leave Tuesday, January 31 and return on Monday,
February 6. Please pray for a safe and successful journey.
